This year in school, we are excited to announce that we have our very own Year 6 Health Champions who will be leading and organising monthly events to promote Health and Wellbeing.
Our first event will be celebrating National Fitness Day on 24th September, which has been arranged by them. Parents, you don't need to do anything other than send the children in their PE kits as usual.
Last year through our Mental Health and Wellbeing weeks, we explored the importance of having a healthy body and mind. Physical activity can help to increase energy levels, provide us with a positive mindset as well as helping us to get ready for learning.
Our Year 6 Health Champions have been meeting regularly to plan and organise a range of events for each class to participate in throughout the day. They have worked hard to create activities that are fully inclusive so that everyone can join in and have a great day.
