Great fun was had by all who attended Young Voices this year at Resorts World, Birmingham.
After all the hard work practising the songs, Mrs Brereton, Mrs Cusack and Mrs Watt all said it was amazing, and sounded brilliant!
Thank you Mrs Brereton for organising this opportunity once again!

Staff and children are enjoying taking part in mental health awareness week again in school. This year's theme "Find Your Brave" has been embraced by all.
Bravery comes in all shapes and sizes and is different to everyone.  We all have times when we need to 'find our brave'.  We have been learning about how life is all about taking small brave steps every day: sharing worries, asking for help when you need it, trying something new or making the right choices.  We have been using these tools to help build our confidence and self-esteem which is making us feel better about ourselves.
The school community has been taking part in activities throughout the week, including:
  • Sharing our own experiences of finding our brave - including talking about special objects or times when we've had to find our brave.
  • Talking about times we have learnt a new skill, persevered to overcome something difficult or asked for help to conquer a fear.
  • Miss Machiko led the classes in yoga sessions, in which we learned to use exercise to support our own well-being
As a fundraising effort, we raised £95.00 through our sports themed non-uniform day!  Thank you for everyone who donated.  This money will be used to purchase our well-being first aid kits.
