This term each class has been working on developing dance sequences with our PE specialist, Miss Machiko. Our Y5/6 dance won first prize in the local area dance competition and Y1/2 came second in their category. The dances were filmed outside in the playground and videos submitted online. We are thrilled that the Y5/6 dance also won first place in Warwickshire County! Congratulations to the children and Miss Machiko.
Miss Machiko also taught each class a dance sequence which we fitted together to create a whole school (bubble safe) dance. It was very emotional to see them all together for the first time this year and the Reception children were astonished to see all the other children. Here are some photos of the final performance.

What a fantastic science week we’ve had!
We’ve had a great variety of events and activities from super slime to cuddly lambs, from square bubbles to gravity defying buckets of water, not to mention informative and fascinating jobs presented by parents and grandparents as well as activities lead by our amazing scientists of the future...all finished off with a trip to the Think Tank for Y5/6. A superb team effort from Yr 6 at the Alcester Primary Cluster Rowing completion today at Alcester Academy! Working in teams of four against five other schools they finished in fantastic fourth and fifth positions out of seven places! They all showed amazing team work and sportsmanship giving 100% in gruelling multiple timed races and as always their behaviour was impeccable. Well done boys !
