If you are worried or concerned about anything at all, you can report your concern here:
On behalf of all the children, parents, staff, governors and volunteers I would like to thank you for your interest in Great Alne Primary, whether as a prospective parent, current parent, curious member of the community or even if you found your way here by accident!
James, Mr Penn and Sensia Since my arrival in December 2023 I have seen that Great Alne Primary is, as the school motto says: Responsible, Respectful, and very much 'Ready...'
I believe passionately that learning can only flourish in a calm and nurturing environment where safety is utterly paramount and we strive for this each day.
For all those I've met or yet to meet, it is clear that everyone can see this is a renewed community to be a part of. Respectful and charismatic children, deeply dedicated and enthusiastic staff, and exceptionally supportive parents ensure a pro-active approach to education.
By being a part of Great Alne Primary School you are helping to build an educational experience that our children will always remember. We will equip them to be adults throughout the 21st century (and some into the 22nd too!) by teaching them to use their strengths, think for themselves and act with kindness and compassion.
You are very welcome to come and see the school in action by booking a tour where I will be happy to show you around. You will see our wonderful rural learning environment complete with our new Library and Piano Suite - with a coffee and biscuit thrown in!
I really look forward to meeting you.
Matt Penn - Headteacher
