Welcome to Great Alne Primary School

I am delighted to welcome you to Great Alne Primary School.

We are a small, friendly community school set in beautiful rural grounds, on the edge of Great Alne village close to the Warwickshire town of Alcester.

At Great Alne, we aim to teach a rich and varied curriculum within an exciting learning environment.  Our experienced and committed staff ensure that all children are given every opportunity to reach their full academic potential.

Our pupils also learn to respect others, treating everyone in our school community with care, courtesy, kindness and tolerance.  Our aim is that every child feels self-confident, secure and valued.

At Great Alne Primary, in addition to the bright and airy classrooms, we are fortunate to have a well-stocked library and ICT suite as well as a large hall which we use for assemblies, school productions and PE.  We also have a specialist music room which is used for music and recorder class lessons, extra-curricular activities and by visiting peripatetic instrumental teachers.

We are fortunate to have a committed and knowledgeable governing body who support us and play an active role in the life of our school.

Our Friends of School group (FoS) work hard to enrich the school life for the children by organising a range of fundraising activities.

Great Alne Primary is committed to working in partnership with parents. We believe that this is achieved through a close and trusting relationship between home and school, working together to promote the vision, aims and ethos of the school.  We value high standards and the celebration of achievement.
I look forward to meeting you and showing you around our lovely school.
